Synopsis

Overall, this project was a little harder than I imagined. When we first got assigned the project I figured it would be no big deal to make two basic boxes. But every detail mattered. I wanted to make sure both of my pieces connected but not so much that they were seen as the same thing. I also wanted to make both boxes simple and easy to use and open. For my silverware, I made sure to make the top part connected with the bottom as it would be displayed in my store. For the inside of the box, I used tissue paper which I would hypothetically like to be a cloth material. I then wrapped the sets of silverware underneath the displayed silverware. For my pico, I just made a simple box that had a cut out on the front to show the pico. I gave a description of what and how to to use the pico. I then tied it with a string that matches the string of the Pico. I believe I executed my project the best I could without the materials that I would actually use. I learned a lot from this project on how much detail goes into packaging. I definitely had to use more of my production skills in this project which was also a learning experience.
